Read what the selected fare includes, including cabin and checked bags, seats, changes and cancellation. Compare the final total rather than the first displayed fare.
Connections and timing
Review the time between flights, any airport or terminal change, and the arrangements for baggage. Allow for parking and security before the airline’s check-in deadline.
Match parking to the booked flight
After choosing the itinerary, reserve parking for the time you expect to reach the lot and the time you expect to collect the car. Include the journey between the lot and terminal, baggage collection on return and a sensible allowance for delays. A flight’s landing time is not the same as the time you will leave the parking facility.
Check early departures and late returns
For an early flight, verify that the parking shuttle operates before your required terminal arrival. For a late return, check both the lot’s vehicle-access hours and the last shuttle. If an overnight hotel is useful, compare the room and parking costs together and confirm exactly what any package includes.
