The cruise terminal and arrival address
Cruise Maryland uses the passenger terminal at 2001 East McComas Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. The cruise facility is separate from Baltimore’s downtown sightseeing piers and from the port’s other cargo terminals. Follow the cruise-terminal address and your sailing instructions. Your cruise ticket and identification should be ready before entering the passenger building.
Driving directions and the final approach
The official directions use I-95 Exit 55 for Key Highway and East McComas Street. From the south, the route continues toward the terminal entrance on East McComas Street. From the north, the airport-style navigation label is not sufficient: follow the signed I-95 route and the port’s instructions after the Fort McHenry Tunnel. Drivers from the west can connect from I-70 to I-695 and I-95. Check current Maryland road guidance before choosing a tunnel or beltway route.
Traffic, road conditions and journey timing
Baltimore motorway traffic and cruise-day vehicle queues can affect the final arrival. Use Maryland CHART for incidents and closures, and plan a route suited to your vehicle rather than relying on an old printed map. If your journey involves a high or unusual vehicle, verify the applicable road and parking restrictions before departure. The cruise line’s assigned arrival time should determine your parking and drop-off plan.
Parking choices and important restrictions
Cruise Maryland provides long-stay parking within walking distance of the terminal and states that advance reservations are not required for its own lots. Parking is paid on arrival by the accepted cards, and accessible spaces are available. The official passenger-information page carries the current rate and vehicle categories. At our review, the supplied On Air Parking page displayed no facility cards; use the booking link to recheck your dates rather than assume that an independent lot is currently available.
Transfers and onward travel
For official port parking, luggage is normally dropped before the driver is directed to a lot. Independent parking requires its own check-in and transfer arrangements, so do not assume that an airport hotel shuttle serves the cruise terminal. Baltimore/Washington International Airport, Baltimore rail stations and the cruise terminal are different destinations; allow for the intervening road transfer.
Arrival and collection checklist
Complete and attach the cruise line’s luggage tags before arrival. Keep travel documents and anything needed during check-in in hand luggage. After disembarkation, follow the port’s directions to parking or the pickup area, and coordinate collection only after baggage and formalities are complete. The port cautions that passengers cannot re-enter the seated waiting area after leaving the terminal, so prepare for the weather if waiting outside.
Accessible parking and assistance
Request ship and terminal assistance through the cruise line. When considering an independent service, verify accessible parking, the transfer vehicle and the exact boarding point. Official port parking includes accessible spaces; eligibility, payment arrangements and any special vehicle requirements should be confirmed directly with Cruise Maryland.
