The cruise terminal and arrival address
Port Canaveral has cruise terminals on both sides of the port. The terminal number on your sailing documents matters: the A terminals are on the north side, while the B terminals are on the south side. Ship assignments can change, so use the port’s current terminal arrival guide as well as the cruise line’s confirmation. Cape Canaveral is the surrounding city; a city-center pin is not a substitute for the ship’s terminal address.
Driving directions and the final approach
State Road 528, the Beachline Expressway, is the main approach from the Orlando area. The port directs A-terminal traffic toward Exit 54A and B-terminal traffic toward Exit 54B. Check the terminal-specific map before the final split. Toll roads may form part of an Orlando or Sanford airport journey. If parking off site, go first to the exact lot address in the reservation and follow its transfer instructions.

Traffic, road conditions and journey timing
Build in time for the Beachline, cruise-day terminal approaches and the parking transfer. Check FL511 for incidents or closures and use the current cruise schedule to understand the day’s terminal activity. Do not plan around an uninterrupted driving-time estimate. Your boarding appointment, the lot’s check-in deadline and the shuttle departure window all need to fit together.

Parking choices and important restrictions
Official garages and surface lots are beside the cruise terminals, allowing passengers to walk to the ship rather than take an off-site shuttle. Port Canaveral states that it does not take reservations for these official facilities. Independent parking may involve an extra transfer charge: the supplied listings include products where shuttle cost is not included. Compare the full stay price and passenger-transfer charges before deciding.

Transfers and onward travel
Orlando International, Melbourne Orlando and Orlando Sanford airports each require a separate road transfer to the port. If arriving by air, confirm the collection point, luggage allowance and timing of a reserved shuttle. For a hotel or independent parking lot, check which terminals it serves and how the return pickup works; a close straight-line distance does not guarantee a short transfer on a busy cruise day.
Arrival and collection checklist
Have your terminal number and cruise documents available to show staff. For official parking, follow the port’s luggage and passenger drop-off directions before proceeding to the appropriate garage or lot. Keep essential medication, valuables and boarding documents outside checked luggage. When the cruise returns, confirm where your parking shuttle collects passengers before leaving the terminal frontage.
Accessible parking and assistance
Check accessible parking and the route from the parking level to your terminal. If a shuttle is involved, confirm its accessibility separately from the lot’s accessible-space provision. Port parking fee-waiver rules are specific; a disabled permit alone should not be assumed to provide free parking. Consult the official parking page for current eligibility and documentation.
