PortMiami’s cruise terminals are on Dodge Island, with facilities on both the north and south sides of the port. The terminal letter on your cruise documents is essential for choosing a route and parking facility. The port’s administration address is not necessarily your passenger drop-off address. Check the sailing confirmation and current port map before departure.
PortMiami can be reached by the PortMiami Tunnel from the MacArthur Causeway/I-395 corridor or by the PortMiami Bridge from downtown. Guidance issued by the port on October 16, 2026 directs passengers for Terminals AA, A, B, C and D through the tunnel, and passengers for E, F, G, J and V via the bridge. Confirm the latest advice for your sailing and follow road signs and staff instructions if traffic arrangements change.
The port’s October 2026 traffic plan asks passengers to arrive at their assigned embarkation time. Downtown events, the I-395 approach and simultaneous ship arrivals can affect the journey. Check FL511 and PortMiami’s latest advisories rather than add a fixed driving-time promise. If using an off-port lot, build the shuttle wait and terminal delivery into the time before your boarding appointment.
PortMiami lists garages and surface parking associated with individual terminals. The current parking map shows which garage serves each terminal, while oversized-vehicle arrangements are handled separately. Official parking and an independent parking reservation are different products. Read the independent offer for its port-transfer terms, passenger limits, luggage rules and return pickup procedure.
Miami International Airport, Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, downtown hotels and PortMiami each require their own transfer plan. A hotel or lot’s airport shuttle does not automatically cover a cruise terminal. Check your ship’s terminal letter with the shuttle operator and agree where to wait after the cruise. Keep a backup contact method if your return flight or disembarkation time changes.
Keep boarding documents, identification, medicine and valuables in hand luggage. Use cruise-line baggage tags before handing bags to porters. At the end of the sailing, collect all luggage and complete the terminal process before requesting pickup. Vehicle restrictions and access arrangements differ among garages, so check height, length and any equipment carried on the roof before booking.
Official parking includes designated accessible spaces, and the port publishes its current disability and veteran parking rules. For an independent lot, confirm a suitable shuttle, available boarding assistance and the route from the shuttle stop to the cruise check-in area. Arrange shipboard and terminal assistance through the cruise line in advance.
Downtown Miami and Brickell offer a short city transfer to the port, while Miami Beach and the airport area have different travel times and hotel choices. Compare the full cost of a hotel, parking and transfers. Confirm whether a park-and-cruise package permits the car to remain for the entire itinerary and whether the return journey is included.
A parking-only offer does not include a hotel room. For a hotel package, confirm the number of parking days, transfer destination and any additional passenger charges.

Explore tours and experiences around Miami before or after your journey. Allow enough time for the return trip to your airport, cruise terminal or hotel.
Use the terminal assigned by your cruise line for the sailing date, then check the official port map. If you book an independent parking lot, follow its arrival address and transfer instructions first.
It depends on the offer. Check the charge, passenger allowance, luggage rules, operating window and return pickup process. An airport shuttle is not automatically a cruise-terminal transfer.
Use the latest port instructions for your terminal letter. Plan to arrive at the cruise line’s assigned time with parking and shuttle time allowed beforehand.
Check the height, length, width and vehicle-category rules for the specific product before reserving. A garage, outdoor lot and hotel parking area can have different restrictions and charges.
Confirm accessible spaces, the transfer vehicle and the final route to check-in with the provider. Arrange embarkation assistance with the cruise line; the parking booking does not arrange shipboard assistance.
Check current parking options, read the transfer details and choose the product that fits your journey.
